Interesting Facts about Google

The acquisition of Nest by Google is an exciting move for many reasons, and the first one of which is Artificial Intelligence. Google has a reputation for being at the forefront of AI research.

I’ve been working on Artificial Intelligence for several years now, and I see this move as an attempt to make sense of all the effort.

Perhaps you’re wondering what exactly is Google’s strategy in AI? Google will now further its research on AI and bring it all under one roof with this acquisition.

What do we mean by artificial intelligence?

In the simplest form, we’re looking at devices that mimic the human brain.

Imagine your refrigerator as a state-of-the-art cognitive interface.

We know that Google has an interest in AI at the moment, but their main area of research is Machine Learning and Deep Learning.

I’ve been working with Google and Apple on Machine Learning and Deep Learning for a couple of years now, so I see that as the ultimate goal.


Interesting Fact #2.

Take, for example, an AI chatbot. Some of Google’s most focused areas of AI is in areas such as Natural Language Processing, Speech Recognition, Biometrics, Speech Recognition, and Image Recognition. The Talk-Bot in Android’s Google Home speaker does a good job of interacting with users.

Google’s current and future projects involve advanced speech recognition technology that would make the tech conversation with the users. A speaker’s natural language understanding will learn to provide the user with better answers and suggestions.

Google is also developing a more detailed natural language processing system, which will help the general customer service center workers at Google.
